Job Description

The WordPress Developer will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, working closely with designers, content teams, and digital marketers to deliver high-quality projects that meets client expectations. 

 Key Responsibilities 

 Development & Implementation 

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins

• Convert Figma, PSD, or Adobe XD designs into responsive WordPress websites

• Customize existing themes and plugins to meet project requirements

• Implement WooCommerce e-commerce solutions

• Build custom post types, taxonomies, and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)

• Good knowledge of automation to develop custom workflows and chatbots

• Develop and customize Gutenberg blocks and page builder components

• Integrate third-party tools and APIs including payment gateways, CRMs, and other 3rd party platforms

 Maintenance & Optimization 

• Perform website updates, backups, and security monitoring

• Optimize website performance and Core Web Vitals

• Implement WordPress security best practices

• Troubleshoot PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and WordPress issues

• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility

• Collaborate with marketing teams on SEO best practices

 Collaboration & Communication 

• Work closely with designers, project managers, and marketers

• Participate in project planning and technical reviews

• Provide technical support to content editors

• Document code, processes, and custom features

• Stay updated with WordPress trends and updates

 Required Skills & Experience 

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer

• Strong knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and plugins

• HTML, CSS, and PHP knowledge

• Experience in managing and troubleshooting domain and host server

• Experience with page builders such as Elementor, WP Bakery, Divi etc

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
